Due in a few weeks, we have our girls name chosen but are struggling to find something that we love as much for a boy.
DD is [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] and DS is [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] ([name_u]Bo[/name_u]) so something that works with both of those. We knew that these were ‘the name’ straight away so finding another one is quite hard!
My current favourite is [name_u]Amos[/name_u], but my OH prefers [name_m]Otis[/name_m], but I’m not sure it sounds right with the others!
Other names I love but have been vetoed are [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_u]Idris[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
Welcome to Nameberry! I can see your concern about [name_m]Otis[/name_m]–I prefer it to [name_u]Amos[/name_u] generally, but it maybe overlaps a little too much with your big kids’ names (which are lovely, by the way!). I wonder if you might like:

I’m not sure that he dislikes [name_u]Amos[/name_u], he just definitely prefers [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. I feel like I had the final decision on both of the others so don’t want to steamroll him into it! I think it’s the meaning of [name_u]Amos[/name_u] I really like too (more than [name_m]Otis[/name_m])

[name_u]Atlas[/name_u] was considered but we felt it might be too big of a name for a little person! And lots of others we already know little ones with!
Amos and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] both great names. I do prefer [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. Naming your second of same gender is always hard because all names seem stale second time around.
Yes, [name_m]Amias[/name_m] is lovely. [name_f]My[/name_f] nephew is [name_u]Elias[/name_u] though, too similar?
I think that’s it @MerylP, we were so in love with our first name nothing else matches up! Not helping that the girls name we have chosen for this baby is beautiful, so much so that I’m going to be really sad if we don’t get to use it.
We have added [name_u]Axel[/name_u] NN [name_m]Ace[/name_m] to our list, one we both really like and I feel it sits well with both of the other names
Axel has the same feel to me as [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u], perfect match. I also think [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] (suggested above) is amazing with [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] and [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u].
How does one pronounce [name_u]Amos[/name_u]? Is it ay-MISS or ay-MOHS?
