What does everyone think about the name Riggins?
I have known a little boy named Riggins. It’s easy to spell, a bit swashbuckling—I see the appeal, even though it’s personally NMS.
It makes me think of Friday [name_m]Night[/name_m] Lights (which I love!). I really like the name, but I think if I suggested it my husband would just tease me about [name_m]Tim[/name_m] Riggins. However, I don’t think all of society would make that connection. I think it fits with the last-names-as-first-names style and is easy to spell/pronounce. I picture it on a mischievous little boy, but believe it would fit at all stages of life.
I think it sounds a bit odd, but I can definitely see it as a spunky, unusual, surname choice. You might also like [name_m]Briggs[/name_m]?
I think it’s too surnamey.
