Boys name list.. help!!

[name]Hi[/name] berries! I’m due in [name]July[/name], looking for some opinions and suggestions for boy’s names. I love these names, but I feel most of them have become too popular/trendy over the past few years. DD #1 is [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Brielle[/name], or last name starts with an E, rhymes with Elkin. Would love some suggestions with a similar style! [name]TIA[/name]

[name]Myles[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] I don’t like it spelled Miles because it looks like the measurement, not being trendy with the “y”. Alexander is a tribute name.

[name]Ilya[/name] [name]Orion[/name] Also curious as to how you would pronounce Ilya? I prefer “E-Lee-uh”, a Russian man my husband used to work with used this pronunciation, but it seems most pronounce it “E-lye-ah”?

[name]Jackson[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] “[name]Jax[/name]” - Not a huge fan of Jackson, but really like the nickname Jax

[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Kingston[/name] “[name]Ollie[/name]”

[name]Felix[/name] [name]Orion[/name]

I love [name]Ilya[/name] [name]Orion[/name]!!!

[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Alexander[/name] are very popular (though I’m very partial to the nn [name]Jax[/name] ) but your other choices, although well known, are in the 200 range or lower, which means that in 2011, only 1500 or fewer boys with that name were born.

I really like your choice of [name]Felix[/name] [name]Orion[/name]. It’s different & unique enough, but also well enough known that your son wouldn’t have pronunciation or spelling issues. I like [name]Ilya[/name]'s sound and meaning, but I would find it odd to hear such a Russian sounding name on a child who wasn’t Russian, unless there is Russian heritage in your family background. Plus there are pronunciation issues. not knowing any better, I would have pronounced it Ill + Ya. I would prefer to see [name]Elijah[/name] used if there is no Russian connection, but then you have the popularity issues again.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Orion[/name]. [name]Orian[/name] [name]Myles[/name] is awesome. I’d pronounce Iyla like [name]Isla[/name] (eye-lah) so I’m guessing his name written down would be pronounced that way when someone is reading it. I do love Iyla [name]Orion[/name] though. Maybe spell it [name]Eliah[/name]. [name]Just[/name] to avoid confusion.

I love the name [name]Jax[/name]! Not a fan of [name]Jackson[/name] at all though.
[name]Jax[/name] [name]Orion[/name] would nice! Others- [name]Jax[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Lennon[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Everett[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Keaton[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Remington[/name], [name]Jax[/name] [name]Bradford[/name].
[name]Oliver[/name] is great too! Perfect with [name]Sophia[/name].

[name]Henry[/name] [name]Kingston[/name]

[name]Ian[/name] [name]Garrett[/name]

[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Owen[/name]

[name]Declan[/name] [name]Scott[/name]

[name]Owen[/name] [name]Lennox[/name]

I definitely pronounce [name]Ilya[/name] Ill-ee-uh, but that said, I prefer [name]Myles[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]. So great. [name]Myles[/name] is great and it sounds awesome with [name]Alexander[/name]. Stay away from [name]Jackson[/name] if you don’t like it. I don’t like it either, although the nickname is cool

My favorite from your list is definitely [name]Ilya[/name] [name]Orion[/name], awesome combination. If the actual Russian pronunciation is E-[name]Lee[/name]-uh and that’s what you like, great. Quite a lot of people will likely mispronounce it the first time they see it, but I don’t think that’s a big deal. Teachers in school always mispronounced my name the first time they read it, but it never bothered me at all.
[name]Myles[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is a good choice, though I think the y in there looks a bit strange.
[name]Jackson[/name] isn’t a name I like much, and if your also not such a huge fan of it, I’d keep it off the list even though you like the NN.
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Kingston[/name] is a nice combination. I’m a little bored with [name]Oliver[/name] myself, but I understand why people like it.
[name]Felix[/name] [name]Orion[/name] is probably my second favorite from your list. It’s a very noble sounding combination.
