I’m looking for a name to go with my son’s name, [name_m]Eli[/name_m] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m]. I would really like some opinions on my favorites and any suggestions would be great!
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] - I would probably use the middle name [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], however I’m worried that [name_u]Asa[/name_u] may not work well with my last name (starts with Sh, one syllable, ends in S) - what do you think?
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] - I really like [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] but I’m not a fan of [name_u]Toby[/name_u] and I feel like he would end up with that nickname. Also not sure of a middle name and how well it works with my last name, being that it ends with an S.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - middle name [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]. This is a good solid name to me, but I feel like it’s a safe choice compared to the others.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is a safe name compared to [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u], but it is my top pick. [name_u]Asa[/name_u] is meh and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] would turn into “[name_u]Toby[/name_u]”. I think the name [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] sounds young, fresh, and timeless like [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. They flow better together too. You can use the nickname “[name_m]Ike[/name_m]” is fun too.
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] works well with [name_m]Eli[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] as well. [name_m]Ike[/name_m] is fantastic!
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and then more S-sounds in the surname sounds a little too much if you ask me.
I like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] with [name_m]Eli[/name_m], but it seems to close the sibset in a way. I would struggle more to find a suitable sibling name for [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] than for [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m].
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] have a lot in common, soft, biblical, mostly vowels, three letters…
I like that the I-sound is found in both [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m].
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] is too long next to [name_m]Eli[/name_m] for me. [name_m]Eli[/name_m] has three different sounds, [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] has six, [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] has four.
I love [name_m]Eli[/name_m] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] as a sibling set.
