Other than being a strong and handsome boys names, do you think the name [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] works as a honour name for a grandmother called [name_f]Iris[/name_f]?
I have been crushing on [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] and then realised it could be considered an honour name for [name_f]Iris[/name_f] which is perfect because I would like to use a family name on my father’s side if we have a son and his mother’s name was [name_f]Iris[/name_f].
What do you think of the name [name_m]Osiris[/name_m]? What middle names do you suggest? Here are the family/personal connections names I’m toying with at the moment.
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] is a good name, totally unexpected and unique. If I were you I’d match [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] with either something as unique/unknown as it is itself or you could use a more grounded middle (perhaps biblical?). Here are some of my suggestions:
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Abner[/name_m]
If you like something with [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m]/[name_u]Gray[/name_u].
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m]
Last but not least, you could also consider Irah instead of [name_m]Osiris[/name_m], it somehow remembers me of [name_f]Iris[/name_f] too.
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] could work really well! I also like [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m]. Another honor name could be [name_f]Irie[/name_f] (I’ve met one).
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] would be perfect to honor an [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I would pair it up with a softer, traditional middle name. [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Philip[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] all came to mind.
Another name to honor your Gran could be [name_u]Ira[/name_u] which is so, so handsome!
I love [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] and I think it is a way to honor someone named [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I think I would go with a middle name that’s not quite as…adventurous.
[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] from your list. I also like [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m].
I suggested Osiris to my brother for my new nephew and he loved it, but his wife vetoed it. If Osiris is too unusual for him he could always go by Siris/Cyrus or Ris.
I really really like the idea of [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]!
From your own options, I like [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] best
