Boys names for your girls?

I’m a big fan of using some traditional ‘boy’ names for baby girls! For example, i love the names [name]Cody[/name], [name]Wesley[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Devin[/name], [name]Taylor[/name], [name]Preston[/name], [name]Bradley[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] for girls. Some people are strongly against this and want to stick with boy names for boys and girl names for girls. What are your thoughts on this?

I love it! Everyone gets very heated on this subject though.

lol, it is a very heated subject!

Honestly, I hate it. There are names that have very masculine origins ([name]Bailey[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Avery[/name], [name]Harper[/name], [name]Addison[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], etc.) that I would love to use for my future sons but people tell me that they are unusable now because other parents decided to give a boys’ name to their daughters. I can’t wrap my mind around it, and I really can’t stand it. I don’t judge people who use them, because they’re just honestly using a name that they loved. If I get the chance, though, I would definitely name my son [name]Bailey[/name].

I hate boys names on girls. I would be mortified introducing myself to someone as [name]Spencer[/name] or [name]Wesley[/name] when they are clearly boys names. Each to their own though.
