Please help us create the perfect name, both first and middles (which are below). We would like TWO middle names so we can use a two initial middle as it is a family tradition… Our last name is [name]Cruise[/name]. Thanks.
Middle names that must be used: [name]John[/name], [name]Potter[/name], Winkle, & [name]Allen[/name]
My favorites are (I like these all a lot a lot, excellent names):
[name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Solomon[/name]
[name]Alastair[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Sebastian[/name]
Less fond of:
[name]Asher[/name] (I know it’s historic and Biblical, but it always reminds me of what someone ashing a cigarette should be called)
[name]Cooper[/name] (It’s okay, but I’d prefer a [name]Connor[/name] or [name]Conley[/name] to it)
[name]Calloway[/name] (Seems like both a last name and a golf club company)
[name]Winslow[/name] (also seems too strongly like a last name to me)
[name]Theodore[/name] - classic and fun at the same time. [name]Teddy[/name] as a nn for a liitle one is too cute
[name]Asher[/name] - I like this one a lot and would have used it if it didn’t clash with our LN.
[name]Solomon[/name] - [name]Adore[/name] the nn [name]Sol[/name] or [name]Sully[/name]. [name]Solomon[/name] is dignified.
[name]Winslow[/name] - [name]Win[/name] is a great nn but I’m not in love with [name]Winslow[/name]. It has charm though.
[name]Elliot[/name] - I like this but DH didn’t so it got tossed
I wouldn’t use [name]Cooper[/name] or [name]Calloway[/name] as it makes the name sound like a cruise line.
Is Winkle honestly a must-use?
I think the longer names are best when paired with [name]Cruise[/name]-- [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Solomon[/name], [name]Sebastian[/name], and [name]Alistair[/name].
