I seem to be drawn towards boys names that end in S. My favourite boy’s names haven’t changed in ages and are [name_m]Otis[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Fergus[/name_m]. I’ve always assumed I could only ever pick one as I worry it’ll be too matchy to use two. What do you think? Could you get away with brother [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_m]Fergus[/name_m]? [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m]? Are they even too matchy for twins?
[name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] could work I think, as could [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] feel a little too matchy for me
I think [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] could work, as could [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] together with the repeating 3 letters F-us is a little much. I think all 3 together would be too much too. I know many people with multiple daughters with names that end in -a or boys that all end in -on or -el, so I don’t think it would be anything to have 2.
They absolutely work well together. The beginnings of the names don’t match, and in the case of these names the beginnings are where the emphasis is pronounced. If you love these names you should go for it!
I think they’re fine together. [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] feel the closest, but I still think it’s doable. I like them all by the way, especially [name_m]Rufus[/name_m].
Thank you so much for all of your replies! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to hear the overall consensus is that it’s ok! I dont think I would ever use [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] together as some have mentioned, but I am glad to hear that [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] or [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] could work!
