Braden and Camden too similar?

We have a son [name_m]Braden[/name_m] and daughter [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f]. Curious if [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is too similar to go with these because we like it. Needing help with a boys name!

Not really,but I really dislike [name_u]Camden[/name_u].

I’m also thinking of callum and callen…

I don’t think they’re too similar, but I don’t like [name_u]Camden[/name_u] nearly as much as I like [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is a much better choice.

I think the first syllables are different enough to distinguish them easily. [name_u]Camden[/name_u] or [name_m]Callum[/name_m] or [name_m]Callen[/name_m] will all do nicely.

I have always loved the name [name_u]Camden[/name_u]! And I don’t think it sounds too similar at all.

I love [name_m]Callen[/name_m]!

Not to similar

I vote [name_m]Callen[/name_m]!

I like [name_u]Camden[/name_u] (combines two of my faves: Scottish and nature names). But I do think [name_m]Callum[/name_m] or [name_m]Callen[/name_m] are more distinct and better for the sibset. Of course if you plan on calling him [name_u]Cam[/name_u], it won’t matter as much.

[name_m]Callum[/name_m] is my personal favorite of the 3, and could have the nickname [name_u]Cal[/name_u] or [name_u]Cam[/name_u].

[name_m]Braden[/name_m] and [name_u]Camden[/name_u] sound pretty similar to me, but at the same time they wouldn’t be confusing since the stressed syllables are totally different. But if [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is a contender, I vote for it! I just love it (and can’t use it because it’s been used in my family but not closely enough to be an honour name). It’s soft but strong and unusual but I think familiar to most people. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] all the way! (And if it’s helpful, I always get confused by [name_m]Callen[/name_m] - it always looks like a misspelled [name_m]Colin[/name_m] to me.)

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Caius[/name_m] or [name_m]Cormac[/name_m]?

What about:

[name_m]Colton[/name_m]
[name_m]Colin[/name_m]
[name_m]Case[/name_m]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]

I think it’s fine. The two you have now have similar name endings, so you might as well make it a theme honestly. They fit together nicely as a sibset.
