Really, all of these are great. I quite like [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u]. [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] would be unexpected to hear! Not a huge fan of [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u], personally, but I think it’s certainly a strong name.
I really love [name_u]Bennett[/name_u]! [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] is interesting, and I think [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] is sweet. I’m not a big fan of [name_u]Brady[/name_u], but I do like the way it sounds. I think I prefer [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] to [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u], but [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] reminds me of [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u] (and I love [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]!) so I like [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] too. Really love [name_u]Pax[/name_u], so handsome and cool!!
Oooh, [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] “[name_u]Pax[/name_u]” is incredible! I really love both names, and they totally work like this. [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] (and [name_m]Pascal[/name_m], actually, is so underappreciated).
I also really like [name_m]Benoit[/name_m]! [name_m]How[/name_m] would you be pronouncing it?
Bennett is great, but it’s the [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] spelling that always appeals most to me. It reminds me of the [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] sisters in Pride and Prejudice, and looks a little more refined and old-fashioned to me.
I really like [name_u]Brady[/name_u], [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], and [name_u]Bailey[/name_u]. [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] and [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] are not my style, but they’re still lovely names. I quite like [name_u]Pax[/name_u].
Bailey - I know so many dogs called this (including my own!) that it’s just a little bland for a human for me
Brady - Nms, but a nice name
Bennett - This is a cooler way to get to [name_m]Ben[/name_m], and I also like the Pride and Prejudice connection (although I think this spelling looks a little more complete)
Benoit - I like it, it makes me think of [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] Blanc in Knives Out
Pascoe ‘[name_u]Pax[/name_u]’ - [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] is so cool and unexpected, especially with nn [name_u]Pax[/name_u]
Same. I’ve long had a thing for [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] but feel like it’d be a nightmare to get said correctly, firstly, but also worry about some potential associations to the correct pronunciation, which gives me pause. I would love to feel free to use cuddly [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] though.
Who is [name_m]Ian[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u]? I think most Americans think of [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u], who isn’t my FAVORITE (honestly, not a bad namesake as far as American football namesakes go, but my team and his are essentially mortal enemies. )
I should’ve known you’d get excited about [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u]! I’d forgotten that you were a fan. I fell in love [name_f]Easter[/name_f] last year when I did a [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_f]Easter[/name_f]-themed signature and came up with [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] (and [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Galilea[/name_f], and [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]… le sigh. I loved that signature!), and fell in love. If I used [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u], he’d probably be [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] nn [name_u]Pax[/name_u]!
I say [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] like buhn-wah/ben-wah, depending.
And you think so? I know of a family who named their daughter [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] because of the [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] sisters, so I always just assume [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is easier. I didn’t really appreciate it until I was thinking it was just the sort of name I wish one of my siblings would use–the best sort of name in general, likable, but not one I’d use personally–and then I thought, eh, maybe I’d actually use it myself?! I’m still deciding how I feel lol, but I like it more than I thought I did, and it’s probably more usable than [name_m]Benoit[/name_m].
I’d love any other thoughts, berries! I’m glad to hear [name_u]Brady[/name_u]'s so likable–I worried that he felt a bit more trendy than most of my favorites, but I just finished a novel with a really likable, cool [name_u]Brady[/name_u], and it’s making me crush on him pretty hard. I didn’t like him as a middle to any of my current open combos, so I thought maybe it was worth considering up front.
Maybe it’s more of a UK associstion then! [name_m]Ian[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] was one of the Moors Murderers who brutally murdered a number of children. Since you didnt knpw that, I’m guessing it’s not a universal association and [name_u]Brady[/name_u] is perfectly usable
Oh dear! That certainly isn’t the best association, but [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] is a much more popular association here. That does make it slightly less appealing, but I honestly question if most Americans would make the association, so it may be fine?
Ugh, yes, my greatest [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] fear. Especially with actress [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] Benoist pronouncing her last name beh-NOYST. . They’re quite similar and she gained popularity after doing the Supergirl show. Which is why [name_m]Benoit[/name_m] would mostly be a GP, unless I moved to a [name_u]French[/name_u]-speaking country, theoretically. I also heard one too many people connect it to a sex toy to feel terribly comfortable with it, but in a perfect world without those ties, he would certainly have found a spot in my list. [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] is on my list as it is, so I don’t know that I really NEED [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] or [name_m]Benoit[/name_m], but they’re lovely enough that I’m not really sure I can give them up entirely. [name_u]Boo[/name_u].
