We are thinking about naming our son [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Bram[/name_m]. Our last name begins with a sound similar to “[name_u]Cam[/name_u]-.” [name_f]Do[/name_f] the names clash too much?
I do think they clash too much. Like, I would expect a character on a kid’s show to be named [name_m]Bram[/name_m] [name_u]Cam[/name_u]-, if that makes any sense lol
However, the majority of their life, they won’t use their full name. So I don’t think it’s a huge issue
If [name_m]Bram[/name_m] was his first name I’d say it’s too much. But he won’t use his full name everywhere, so I suppose it’s fine.
I think it’s fine in the middle! The names would rarely be said altogether, and even when they are, I think it’s kinda fun - if you love it, use it!
I agree with @ethelmary. As a first name, it might give me pause (but still wouldn’t necessarily be a dealbreaker) but as a middle I think it’s totally fine. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is a wonderful name.
Hard to say exactly without knowing how your last name sounds in full but I think it’s probably ok. If your last name is just one syllable, them its not so good. But at least 2 then probably fine.
as others have said, i think if it’s just a middle then it’s not a huge problem. I really like [name_m]Bram[/name_m]!
Since it’s a middle name, I think it’s fine
I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m]! I agree that the flow isn’t ideal, but it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me! [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is lovely
I think it is fine. We rarely say our three names together so it would be a non-issue. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is a great name!
