I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Bram[/name], but [name]Bramwell[/name] strikes me as seeming a bit try-hard and pretentious. I would prefer just [name]Bram[/name] as a full name.
It makes makes me think of [name]Branwell[/name] [name]Bronte[/name] (the only boy in the [name]Bronte[/name] family was [name]Branwell[/name], not [name]Bramwell[/name]). In that instance, his real first name was [name]Patrick[/name]. He was called [name]Branwell[/name], but it was his middle name, derived from the fact that it had been his mother’s maiden name.
It seems like a weird smoosh of [name]Bram[/name] and [name]Maxwell[/name]. Not a fan.
I don’t like it…a little too clunky for me. [name]Maxwell[/name] is alright, but for me, my favorite -well name is Bradwell, a name of a character in a book I read a while back.
I like it! and it’s not my style at all. I think its cool and [name]Bram[/name] is a great NN
I like it! It was on our long list. I think [name]Bram[/name] is an amazing nn.
I like [name]Bram[/name], but [name]Bramwell[/name] seems like it’s trying too hard.
Wasn’t [name]Louisa[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Alcott[/name]'s father [name]Bramwell[/name] [name]Alcott[/name], or did I make that up?
Anyway, that’s what it sounds like to me, a 19th. C. [name]New[/name] [name]England[/name] philosopher. Reminds me a bit of [name]Ambrose[/name], which I like. It’s a lot more grounded than slightly-hippie Bramble, which I have considered. But it’s a bit cold for me.
I really like it. It reminds me of the TV series, “[name]Bramwell[/name]”, about a female physician in Victorian [name]England[/name]. It is a little stuffy, but I think [name]Bram[/name] brings it a little more down to earth.
