I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is pretty! I don’t think it’s super exciting (like [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] or [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]) but I do think it’s a nice name and it works with the last name.
Very pretty! [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would be my choice, but [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is more unexpected. [name_f]Lola[/name_f] has been shied away from because of [name_f]Lolita[/name_f], but to me the -ita is the defining part of [name_f]Lolita[/name_f], so [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is just fine!
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] makes [name_f]Lola[/name_f] look silly, imo, and I like the name [name_f]Lola[/name_f]! By that same token, [name_f]Lola[/name_f] makes [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] look severe. I dislike the way it flows, too. But [name_f]Caterina[/name_f] [name_f]Lola[/name_f] isn’t bad.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is the closest I’d come. If I were going to put [name_f]Lola[/name_f] in a middle spot I’d choose something latin-based as the first name, and one that’s perhaps a bit quirky.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I added [name_f]Lola[/name_f] as the middle name, because my partner isn’t too adventurous when it comes to first names ([name_f]Edith[/name_f] took A LOT of conversations).
I think there might still be some other names that work better with [name_f]Lola[/name_f] - such as [name_f]Martina[/name_f] or [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] - but Mr. E won’t look twice at names that “daring”.
I’ll keep [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lola[/name_f] for now, but I’ll keep poking around to see if I can find something a little less safe, but still somewhat tamed.
