What do people think of [name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_m]Braden[/name_m] and [name_u]Braylon[/name_u]? I know there seems to be a lot of [name_m]Braden[/name_m]'s running around but popularity aside, how do you feel about the name? Also is [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] too dated? Or do they fall into the same category as [name_m]Braden[/name_m] in being too popular/too trendy?

My personal favourite similar name is actually [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]. [name_f]BREN[/name_f]-dan rather than [name_u]BRAN[/name_u]-don.
DH & I have a very close friend with this name though, so it’s probably out as an option for us. Another idea is [name_m]Brenton[/name_m]. I know of a few little boys with that name and if you like they can be [name_m]Brent[/name_m] for short (although that is also a nice name on its own).
To answer your question, I’m not a fan of [name_m]Braden[/name_m] or [name_u]Braylon[/name_u], from your list I’d say [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] would be my choice, but obviously my preference is as mentioned above.

[name_m]Braden[/name_m] feels trendy because it goes along with all of the [name_u]Jaden[/name_u]/[name_m]Caden[/name_m]/[name_u]Aiden[/name_u] names. [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] also feels trendy with the [name_u]Jalen[/name_u]/[name_f]Kaylin[/name_f] type names.
Of the three options, I like [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] the best, but I agree with the previous poster that [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] feels like a better option. [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] is actually one of my top three boy names. Or instead of [name_m]Braden[/name_m], what about [name_u]Brady[/name_u]? I know this is a bit of a stretch but [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] instead of [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] seems more timeless.

I like [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]. My brothers best friend is named [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and my one of my cousins on my dads side is named [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]. I LOVED the suggestion of [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] that someone else put!
[name_m]Braden[/name_m] is ok. It seems similar to [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] in regard to the trendiness factor.
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m] is ok, although just because it isn’t trendy like the other two, doesn’t mean it has that much going for it besides the trendy N ending. I think [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] could use a hiatus and maybe let [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] take a turn.
[name_m]Brendan[/name_m], as mentioned by a previous poster, is my favorite of those Br boy names.

brandon = possibly dated a tad, nothing. wrong with it
[name_m]Brendan[/name_m] = a tad more refreshing than brandon

you know when a good, popular song comes on and all the ‘cool’ people are like oh that’s too mainstream i don’t like it, well i’m not like that especially with something like baby name trends. i fully embrace the trends because why do you think there are ‘20s names’ and so on because there were trends so it is not awful to go along with a trend as long as you know in the long run the name is one you truly love. if you think about it, a name has probably been trendy at one time or another.
that being said my favorite is [name_m]Braden[/name_m]. I know with the [name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_m]Brendan[/name_m], [name_m]Brenden[/name_m], crowd I often forget which one somebody is (ex- best friends brother is [name_m]Brenden[/name_m] and i accidentally call him [name_m]Brandon[/name_m].) [name_m]Braden[/name_m] seems current but also long standing and he could be a sufer boy or a business exec. [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] I have never heard of but the look of it is not necessarily my favorite. [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] doesn’t have as much interest as [name_m]Braden[/name_m] but still could fit a similar person.
