Braydens Everywhere!

I was at a professional hockey game last night, and there were 3 players named [name]Brayden[/name]! [name]One[/name] [name]Braden[/name], one [name]Brayden[/name] and one [name]Braydon[/name]. These guys are over 19 because it’s pro sports.

I think I know the game you’re talking about. I’ve noticed that to as a name nerd and a hockey fan. Oddly there was one forward, one Defenseman, and a goalie with the name! I looked up their ages and they’re 21, 28, and 23 respectively. Brayden, the forward, I’m the least shocked with as his siblings- with the exception of his brother- have more trendy or were soon trendy names in Luke (not sure if it’s short for anything or his name on its own), Madison, and Macy. Because He and Braden are pretty close in age I’d guess maybe there was some prevalent guy name some variation of Brayden in [name]Canada[/name] around that time. Braydon, I’m assuming, had parents ahead of naming trends.

I find it weird that nearly all footie players from the US who move to [name]England[/name] to play professionally seem to be called [name]Brad[/name]! It’s like an epidemic. They’re almost all goalies too.
