An old combo on my list from years ago has made a reappearance. I’m wondering about your thoughts on [name_m]Brewster[/name_m] [name_m]Leon[/name_m], nn Brew.
I like [name_m]Leon[/name_m] but honestly don’t care too much for [name_m]Brewster[/name_m], I don’t know why but somehow in my mind [name_m]Brewster[/name_m] sounds like a dog name, the nn Brew sounds nice though.
Brew refers to beer for me so I would not use it. [name_m]Brewster[/name_m] as a mn would be nice though.
It would work for a middle name, but definitely think of beer or dogs. But it would be a sweet middle name especially if it had significance to you!
This is what I was thinking. Except Brew makes me think of Beer.
I quite like it, actually! I like unusual surnames (although I generally prefer a happy middle ground between the popular [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]/[name_u]Carter[/name_u]/[name_u]Parker[/name_u] and the pretentious [name_m]Wellington[/name_m]/[name_m]Washington[/name_m]/Covington/Carrington/[name_u]Remington[/name_u]/Lexington, etc.), and I always thought [name_m]Brewster[/name_m] seemed really cool.
And I’m probably biased because my aunt’s nn for my uncle is Bru, so I think Brew/Bru is really cool. I didn’t really think of beer/a certain type of brew, but it’s probably because I don’t drink, and I just saw it as an alternate spelling for Bru. I think it sounds really cool, though.
[name_m]Brewster[/name_m] reminds me of beer and beer makers. As a first name, it feels over the top.
