Bridget or Annabelle?

Which is your favorite for a beautiful baby girl?

I think I prefer [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. I like both, but [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] feels a bit fresher to me.

I agree with @maerad.

I think [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is a lot prettier than [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] (it has a better flow, is less clunky, and provides better nickname options).

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. I used to like it spelled [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f], just because of the uniqueness, but I prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] now. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a middle name for the combo? [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is cute too, but a little less gentle and pretty.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I think that they’re both super sweet. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is a little more unique these days. There are a bunch of [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f] names that are used a lot in the past ten years. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] has a kind & homey feel to it, & I adore the spunky nn of [name_f]Bridie[/name_f].

You really can’t go wrong with either choice! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. She has a funky flair to her, that I like.

I like both. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is very delicate and feminine. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] has a lively sound and a great meaning/history, plus it’s not popular for babies anymore so it would be a unique choice.

Thanks for the input so far. Middle name options would be [name_f]Dianna[/name_f], [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], [name_f]Laura[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] because I love [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a nickname. However, with your middle name options, I think the combo [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Dianna[/name_f] flows beautifully. That gets my vote.

I like both names I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] wholeheartedly! I always have as long as I can remember. However my husband said [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] the Midget when I proposed it so it deflated my tires.
I feel like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is a little more trendy with all the “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]” names that are seemingly popular right now.

You can’t go wrong with either but I am still in the [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] camp

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is gorgeous, feminine, traditional and wearable. It gets my vote!

Thanks, I do wonder if [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is quite a bit more popular when you consider all of the [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]’s out there. Is it really just combining multiple popular names?

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] wouldn’t have that issue but is perhaps less feminine sounding.
