What are your thoughts on the name [name]Bridget[/name]? I would love any thoughts/opinions you have in the name.
It is probably my top choice ([name]Kathryn[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] are also very likely candidates)
also, favorite combos with the middle/last name options…
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Susannah[/name] Cottum
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] Cottum
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name] Cottum
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Leone[/name] Cottum
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]June[/name] Cottum
I think all your choices are lovely! We’re thinking of naming our 2nd child [name]Brigid[/name] if it’s a girl. I think [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] has the best flow. What about [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name]? Or is that an overdose of Irish-ness?
It’s pretty, but I prefer the French versions (as usual). Although, I had a friend named [name]Bridget[/name] in middle school–lovely girl. I do love the mythology of the name (I’m thinking it’s associated w/a Celtic river goddess resurrected as a Catholic saint).
[name]Bridget[/name] is a wonderful name!! I like [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name] (though i prefer the [name]Catherine[/name] or [name]Katherine[/name] spellling) and [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] best. I also love the name [name]Susannah[/name], but I don’t think it flows as well with [name]Bridget[/name] as the others do.
[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] and [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Leone[/name] are my favorites. I personally prefer the less-anglicized version [name]Brigid[/name], and it might flow nicely with the elegance of names like [name]Noelle[/name].
I adore [name]Bridget[/name] and [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is actually my ideal combination too, so obviously I vote for that. [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and [name]Bridget[/name] [name]June[/name] are both adorable as well. Good luck!
[name]Bridget[/name] is gorgeous, gorgeous! It has a wondrously strong meaning - exalted one. It also means virtuous, powerful. And what a namesake! [name]Brigid[/name] is a figure who’s lasted in mythology for many, many centuries, pre-dating Christianity, but also surviving [name]Roman[/name] conquest. When I hear it, I think – cool, funky, intelligent, strong – but the name is uncommon enough that a child thus named could forge her own path, fill the name in her own way. It’s familiar, everyone’s heard it, but it’s never been very popular, which means you’re not in any particular danger of meeting a billion of them, if that’s something you’d be concerned about.
