Could anyone help me find a girls name to honour both Grannys, [name_f]Bridgie[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]? I am really struggling to find a name that starts with B that I like.
Vintage English names are my favorite. I would really appreciate any help, I would love to honour them, but not with a name that I don’t like.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Barbara[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] on her own, but maybe you don’t want to use that because it favours one over the other? What are the middle names? Maybe that would help!
[name_f]Bronte[/name_f]
[name_f]Blanche[/name_f]
[name_f]Belen[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] (like @waverly123’s suggestion of nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f])
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Briony[/name_f]
[name_f]Bess[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bessie[/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] some ideas of mixing up names to honor both grandmothers:
[name_f]Bronte[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_u]Patrice[/name_u]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] [name_f]Katrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Briony[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f]
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] was my first thought as well, but how do you feel about Beattie ([name_f]BEE[/name_f]-tee)? It’s very unusual, I know, but it’s a traditional British nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] which shares a lot of the sounds of [name_f]Bridgie[/name_f]. A famous bearer is English actress Beattie ([name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]) Edmondson, daughter of actors [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_m]Saunders[/name_m] and [name_u]Ade[/name_u] Edmondson.
I hear you! I don’t care for many B-names, so I would be hard-pressed to come up with a name. Have you considered using variations of [name_f]Bridgie[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] as middle names? It would still be an honor, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
