I’ve recently fallen head over heels for the names [name]Miriam[/name] and [name]Brigit[/name] (bri-JHEET). My question is, would they be okay for siblings? Could [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Brigit[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] be sisters?

[name]Miriam[/name] and [name]Brigit[/name] make a lovely sibset. However, at first glance, I would have pronounced [name]Brigit[/name] like [name]Bridget[/name]. What do you think of the spellings [name]Bridgette[/name] or [name]Bridgitte[/name]? Those are the French spellings, both typically pronounced “bri-JHEET”. I love both combos you have listed.

Like both but especially [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]! I think the spelling change will help with pronunciation.
[name]Brigitte[/name] is the actual French spelling (a la [name]Brigitte[/name] [name]Bardot[/name]). [name]Miriam[/name] and [name]Brigitte[/name] would be fine together.

If you want “bri-JHEET” I would advise you to choose the French [name]Brigitte[/name]. I would still pronounce [name]Bridgette[/name]/[name]Bridgitte[/name] similarly to [name]Bridget[/name] with more emphasis on the last syllable (bri-GHETTE).
