[name]Do[/name] you think that a girl could be named [name]Britain[/name] (with the nickname [name]Britt[/name])?
I don’t love it. [name]Britt[/name] is a cute nickname, though. I think [name]London[/name] or [name]Ireland[/name] would be a better bet.
No. I don’t. Not at all. [name]Brittany[/name] would work at a push - even though I’m still not a fan of place names this is an old one - as the sound is just [name]Britain[/name] with an ‘ee’ noise at the end of it.
I have friends that know a girl named [name]Britain[/name]. I actually think it could work; but I feel it takes a specific type of girl to pull it off.
I don’t think [name]Britain[/name] really works, I think [name]Britton[/name] works a lot better actually.
Hmmm, I’m torn on this one. I’m usually not big on place names, but I like [name]London[/name] as a name, so I won’t shoot this one down. I think it has potential.
I absolutely hate it, honestly. [name]Britain[/name] is a place. [name]Britton[/name] could be cute, or [name]Breton[/name], but [name]Britain[/name]? No,
I used to like the name [name]Brittin[/name] when I was young, but now most [name]Brit[/name] names seem too trendy to me.
Sorry, I think it’s dreadful. Along with [name]London[/name], [name]Scotland[/name] and [name]Ireland[/name] - they’re (very commonly used) place names. I
As someone who has lived in all of these places, despite not being from any of them, I’m so glad I didn’t have to arrive in [name]Britain[/name] and introduce myself as…[name]Britain[/name].
I haven’t lived there but I agree. It’d be really awkward to arrive there and introduce yourself as [name]Britain[/name]!
No. Not at all, I know that [name]America[/name], [name]China[/name] and [name]Ireland[/name] are becomming popular but not [name]Britain[/name], especially if you’re in [name]Britain[/name]. I dislike the nickname [name]Britt[/name] anyway, too close to brat.
Not really. I think it could work for a boy, and I actually like it spelled [name]Britton[/name]. But not for a girl.
A while ago, a poster asked about the name [name]Britton[/name], and everyone told her it looked misspelled and to spell it [name]Britain[/name]!
I think I liked it for the poster back then, but I don’t know. It’s not the worst, but seems like an odd place name for some reason.
