Britberries- how many Imogens do you know?

I know [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] ranks quite highly, but I just wondered in people’s experience, are they everywhere or is it somewhat unique? I’ve only ever known one but I don’t know if this is unusual. Thanks for any feedback!

Not a britberry but I’m a fan of English & Irish musicians and have interacted with a plethora of girls my age through Twitter who are from the UK & Ireland, and I’ve met about 3 Imogens between the ages of 16-21! Most tend to be Sophie, Charlotte, Ellie, Chloe, Lauren, Rebecca, Kayleigh, Kirsty, Chelsea, etc. though!

I’m Australia but [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] is of similar popularity here. I know three [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]'s personally and have mutual friends with another 10 on Facebook (aged between 14-20).

In Australia I know at least one [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] in her 20’s and about 5 under the age of 5. Also there all English parents who have moved here recently.

Another Aussie-berry (though I realise this may not help you gauge how often people in the UK come across one!). I grew up knowing one [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (late 80s) and now one of my friends has a daughter named [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] who’s nine years old. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name!

I know two Imogens, aged about 15 and 22. I think it’s a lovely name.

I know a few Imogens, from 25 to 3. Most go by Immi, but I prefer [name_f]Gen[/name_f] or Idgie as cute nicknames!

Not British but have lived in several parts of the UK. I know at least 3 [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]'s, one is in her 20’s, another is about 14 and I know of a 6 year old [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], daughter of a friend who goes by Idg1e-[name_u]Lou[/name_u].

Canadian - I know zero Imogens.

Australian- have seen two in the social columns, one 50 ish, one young - (A report about 4 years ago stated a small number of people had changed their name to [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], but I have only seen this one photo of anyone older person of that name.)

The exception is my school drama teacher’s daughter who would be c. 25 now. That [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] was named for the Shakespearean character long before the name became popular of late.

Its lovely and rarely used still as far as I can see-maybe less than the U.K and > than the U.S.
Best wishes.
So sorry, you asked for Britberry opinions. You have a world wide view !

Not sure if this helps, but I’m Canadian and have never known or met an [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. It’s a gorgeous name though and I’d love to meet one! Canadian naming style is probably closer to that of the US than the UK or Australia, but not as wacky- [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f] and [name_f]Destiny[/name_f] haven’t taken off here!

I asked my friend who’s lived in the UK for a few years and he knows one [name_f]Imogen[/name_f].

Im from [name_u]London[/name_u] and in my mid-30s- I knew 3 Imogens at school and have met another 3 or 4 since then, mostly my age.

I’m from the UK and I know of 4 Imogens. 1 over the age of 21 and the other 3 under the age of 8.

I’m an Ausberrie, and I have known 4 [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]'s myself. I love the name and think it is really uncommon enough to be unique but not uncommon and constantly needed to be corrected.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped!

I know two Imogens both under the age of 10. I work with children and have come cross it once whilst teaching, I think it’s a nice name and not overly common where I live (South [name_u]West[/name_u] [name_f]England[/name_f]).
The [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] I taught was nicknamed Ims by her parents but for some reason I always called her Mims (which the parents didn’t mind)

I’m in the UK and I love this name for a future girl - but I know two people in the last year that have used it for their babies. It doesn’t put me off, but I would be interested to know if there’s a bit of an [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] boom going on…

I only know two. One is my daughter’s classmate and the other is a friend’s new baby (well, 4 months)
