[name]One[/name] of my close guy friends is named [name]Brooks[/name]…totally a boys name in my books. It never occurred to me that it could be a girly name. Saying the first and last name together kind of sounds like [name]Brooke[/name]'s gone…but if that doesn’t bother you, I think [name]Brooks[/name] is a lovely name for a boy.

I had a classmate in primary school named [name]Brooks[/name]. He was a pretty cool kid, so I’ve always had positive associations with the name.

[name]Brooks[/name] [name]Everett[/name] is dashing. As long as said cousin does not also have the same last name, I say it’s a winner!

I love the name [name]Brooks[/name] and I think it sounds very nice with [name]Everett[/name].

Yeah, everything sounds a little funny with our last name. Names that end in an S or T sound better than those that end in K or N or ER.

I rather see a [name]Brook[/name] on a boy than [name]Brooks[/name]. I have a [name]Brooks[/name] in the family, and I kept thinking it’s odd. I would love to see more [name]Brook[/name][s] on a boy.

I have a male cousin named [name]Brook[/name] and he seems fine with his name. The s at the end makes it seem a little more masculine too. I think it is fine.
