Boy Names

We need a name for a third boy.

We have [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] ([name_m]Ned[/name_m]).

(We’ve already used [name_u]George[/name_u] as a middle.)

Would love to keep the same style but despite looking hard, haven’t found any others that we both love or aren’t too popular.

I like [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes [name_m]Atticus[/name_m].

I’ve spent a lot of time reviewing forum lists with similar suggestions and just am not finding the jewel I’m hoping to uncover. Maybe I need to talk myself into something here.

Have you considered [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] with the nickname [name_u]Kit[/name_u]? That could be a best of both worlds situation.

I like [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] for you, as well as [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]. I know you said [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is out, but I think it’s worth a second glance, personally. I love that all three boys would have a “u” in their name!

I think either [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] would work out fine, as long as you don’t mind two of them sharing first initials with one left out. I’m a big [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] fan, so I’m leaning towards that otherwise. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] fits well too.

I probably wouldn’t use [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] just because then 2 boys would share the A and the other one would just be “left out”, but that’s just me… if it doesn’t bother you then I think [name_u]August[/name_u] is lovely
