Brother for 3 girls

We are TTC baby #4. My first 3 are girls:
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] (mostly called [name_u]Jules[/name_u])

Through 3 pregnancies, we’ve never been able to settle on a boy name.

Here are some from my list.
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_m]Henri[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
[name_u]Merritt[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u]
[name_u]Walker[/name_u]

I feel like the boy names are all over the place, but my girl names are all inspired by [name_m]French[/name_m]/classic lists.

Middle name would most likely be [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to honor a grandpa.

What names am I missing? What really doesn’t go with the girls’ names??

I think [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] & [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] go best. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would both be really sweet. And [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] & [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] are the ones that don’t match as they’re both very American, for lack of a better term, in comparison to your elegant girls’ names. I also like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] with your names, but it doesn’t match with your longer, [name_m]French[/name_m]-inspired names quite as much.

[name_u]Walker[/name_u], [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] & [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] are the only ones from your list that don’t exactly fit with your girls. I love the pp suggestion of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m].

I also like [name_m]Louis[/name_m] & [name_m]Marcel[/name_m] for you.
Best wishes! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this one is a boy!

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] are my favorite for you with your girls! I like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] as a first as well as a middle. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is also very handsome. Your girls have very beautiful names…I have 3 girls as well and now expecting a boy! Naming definitely feels different for a boy. A little more challenging for us to find something we all love.

I was just gonna suggest [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_m]William[/name_m] which I’m sure you’ve already thought of

I’d out or put to bottom, the -tt ending names as not great after [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

Actually, the only names I’d keep are [name_m]Henry[/name_m] (would spell [name_m]Henry[/name_m] unless you’re in a [name_m]French[/name_m]-speaking country/state?), [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] (or [name_m]Sebastien[/name_m] for [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling) and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. I really think one of these three would be superb!

The rest are either too short, “too unisex” or too hip for the others. (Could maybe keep [name_u]Remy[/name_u] but I think too cute after such elegant girls’.)

[name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] go best with your daughters names

Hadn’t thought of the -ett ending names next to [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. Good point.

We are in [name_f]Louisiana[/name_f], where the older generation mostly speak [name_m]French[/name_m]. My grandmother’s first language was [name_m]French[/name_m]. Unfortunately, they didn’t pass on the language. I think [name_m]Henri[/name_m] (the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation) would get about a 50/50 correct pronunciation rate, as it’s not totally unheard of here.
also,I much prefer the spelling [name_m]Sebastien[/name_m]. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think the reason we never could settle on a boys name is we don’t have a set style. I know exactly where to look for girl’s names that fit our style, but I haven’t been as fond of the boys in the same category. Your suggestions definitely help narrow down the list though.

From your list I really like [name_m]Henri[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], and [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] with your girl’s names. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is my favorite but any of these are a great choice!

[name_u]Remy[/name_u] completes an amazing sibset!
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] doesn’t have great flow, possibly a another middle? Would you consider [name_u]Remy[/name_u] Henrick? Or your grandfather’s middle name?

I also like [name_m]Henri[/name_m] as a first. [name_m]Henri[/name_m] [name_m]Merrit[/name_m]

I love lots of your names, but [name_u]Remy[/name_u] sticks out just because I think it’s got a bit of the [name_m]French[/name_m] flair. What about [name_u]Remington[/name_u] nn [name_u]Remy[/name_u]? [name_u]Remington[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is dashing, and I think the more formal name fits well with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

Your daughters have beautiful, classic, timeless names, so it feels like a baby son should follow suit.

Perfect with your girls:
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] - my fave!
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Henri[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] - I really like this, but it sounds a little feminine alongside 3 sisters

[name_m]Just[/name_m] OK-because they sound harsh alongside the lilting girls’ names:
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]

Eliminate - trendy surnames and nouns
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
[name_u]Merritt[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u] - far too trendy
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u]
[name_u]Walker[/name_u]
