[name]Hi[/name]. We are now expecting our first little one and we are looking for a boys name. We have already decided that if we have a daughter her name will be [name]Arabella[/name]. To plan for future considerations of having more children, what boy names do you think would go beautifully with [name]Arabella[/name]?
We like names that are preppy and at least three syllables in length, as our last name is [name]Cruise[/name] so we can easily give a heftier first name.
The name [name]Arabella[/name] sounds so frilly to me, like the name of a Disney princess or something. It’s hard to think of a masculine name to match that. What about a traditional longer male name like [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Benjamin[/name], or [name]Christopher[/name]?
Really not a fan of anything super traditional as I had so many kids named [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name] in my classes. I don’t mind familiar, just not something really popular in the 80s and 90s.
My 2 year old DD is [name]Arabella[/name]. I’m currently 6 months pregnant with #2 and struggling for boys names too. What I will say, though, is that having a daughter [name]Arabella[/name]…we are adamant that this next name be one or two syllables max. Having two kids of 3 or more syllable names would be a real tongue tie!! Although we do call her [name]Bella[/name] most of the time. Here’s some suggestions…
