We also have a few ‘maybe’ names on the list which I’ve not included in the poll but will list them here for feedback:
Beau, Arthur, Roman, Quinn and Flynn

The later five names aren’t set because they’re quite popular and I usually like names that are recognisable but are outside of the top 100 names so you hear them less (like Cecily which ranks #709 in England and Wales) I’m therefore really torn as I love our ‘maybes’ too.

Honestly stuck between [name_m]August[/name_m] & [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] for this, I don’t think you could go wrong with either. They both pair beautifully. [name_m]Roman[/name_m] also works well but these two take centre stage for me.

I voted [name_m]August[/name_m] (he’s so lovely with Cecily!), and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] would’ve been my second choice.

However, I super love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] together; they’re a great, quirky, vintage [name_f]British[/name_f] pair! I also really like [name_m]Flynn[/name_m] with [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].

Absolutely ROMAN!
I am jealous to hear your husband is on board with this name, we are expecting a boy and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] is hands down my fave name, Hubby hates it. I also loved [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] for a girl and hubby wasn’t a fan either. So basically… he’s the problem lol. But I LOVE [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. I also love [name_m]August[/name_m]. [name_m]August[/name_m] is beautiful - warm, strong and lovely! [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and [name_m]August[/name_m] are wonderful!

[name_m]Emmett[/name_m] would be my second choice - gentle but rugged and not heard too often!

[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Laurence[/name_m] feel stylistically matched too :slight_smile:

I love [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] with [name_m]Laurence[/name_m]! The soft c sounds together are dreamy.

From all your options, my favorites for Cecily’s brother are [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]August[/name_m] and [name_m]Laurence[/name_m]. These three names are traditional and captivating, but also refreshing. I think they create a very well balanced with [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].

[name_m]August[/name_m] is the most popular of the three, but it gives me a poetic, old-fashioned vibe, that I like to see next to [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].

[name_m]Laurence[/name_m] sounds calm and peaceful. It has a nature themed named that I really adore. It sounds familiar but surprising at the same time. I admire that it has multiple nickname possibilities.

However, my vote has to go to the wonderful, underused, gentle and charming [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]! I love it! It would be so nice to meet a young [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], born in the present decade. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] has a good meaning. It’s a a great traditional name, in my opinion. I associate it with the adventurous, fun, intelligent and brave character from the Chronicles of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f].

Your list is amazing! I also adore [name_m]Emmett[/name_m], [name_m]Beau[/name_m] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] for Cecily’s brother.
