Brother for Charlotte and Quentin

Hello Everyone,

Looking for naming advice for our 3rd child, a boy. I want a name that flows with my daughter, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and my son, [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Russell[/name_m] (named after his two grandfathers). We call them [name_f]Char[/name_f] and [name_u]Quinn/name_u for nicknames. The middle name must be a family name and good options we have are [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], [name_u]Chase[/name_u], or [name_m]Andersen[/name_m].

Names on our short list are [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]. Our last name begins with “s” so [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] sort of bleeds, although we still like it. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I personally love [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], and think it goes quite well with your other children’s (lovely, may I add) names. I also love the name [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], but I see where you’re coming from with you name ending with s and all. It just comes down to whether or not it will bother you and how much you love the name. I like [name_m]Declan[/name_m], but I don’t think it meshes well with your other children’s names quite right.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] - although do you or does anyone worry about the nickname “[name_u]Sully[/name_u]” and what the word “[name_u]Sully[/name_u]” actually means?

I think [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is so handsome an goes so well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m]. Especially with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], I think both names give off a nice British vibe. Some other suggestions:

I like [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], with the nickname [name_u]Toby[/name_u]. I can see [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] alongside [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m], and [name_u]Toby[/name_u] with [name_f]Char[/name_f] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] :slight_smile:
