Both work perfectly with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] & [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
I personally like [name_u]Dane[/name_u] more. I use to know a [name_u]Dane[/name_u] in University and thought it was so unique, kind of giving a cool/calm vibe.
I like both of your frint runners, but [name_u]Dane[/name_u] is pick!
I also like
[name_m]Ames[/name_m]
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_u]Max[/name_u]
[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Knox[/name_m]
[name_m]Flint[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
This breaks your one syllable pattern but [name_u]Wesley[/name_u] “Wes” would be a great choice too along side [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
Both are [name_u]Dane[/name_u] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m] are both great options with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
Actually before opening up your post my first thought was Lane…
[name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] and [name_u]Lane[/name_u] [name_m]Stephen[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Ford[/name_m] the best he has a outdoorsy retro feel that married up well with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] & [name_u]Reid[/name_u]. I think [name_m]Ford[/name_m] feels unexpected which is a vibe I definitely dig!
Some other ideas could be (please count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries)
I like [name_u]Dane[/name_u] best, especially because it has a distinct ending next to the other two whereas [name_m]Ford[/name_m] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u] both end in -d.

I don’t like [name_m]Ford[/name_m] it makes me think of the truck. [name_u]Dane[/name_u] is ok if not my style. What about [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u], [name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_u]Archer[/name_u], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u]
Oh my gosh! That is crazy! Clearly we have the same exact style! I love grant but my husband won’t go for it hense down to [name_u]Dane[/name_u] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m]. Such a hard decision!! But great names
Great top picks ! If I had to choose between your top two I would pick [name_u]Dane[/name_u] [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] . Simply because [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m] end with D … while [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_u]Dane[/name_u] both end with E they sound different.
Our other top contenders at times were [name_m]Wes[/name_m] (I couldn’t get behind full name versions and the other names just won out but I do still love Wes) and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] (decided wanted to stick with one syllable).
