We’re having our third boy in 2 weeks, we currently have [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name]. Here’s our list of favorites (some I like more, some my DH), but none of them seem like “the name” to me. We’re planning to just wait until he’s born, but I’m still searching! Top contender for middle name is [name]Neal[/name], a family name, but [name]Neal[/name] doesn’t go super well with the names ending in N. Last name starts with M. Any thoughts on these or additional names?
I think since [name]Neal[/name] is a family name it won’t really matter if it bumps up against a name ending in N. Avoiding that sort of thing is a good guiding principal, but when you have a family name you want to use and names you like that bump it, it’s not like a giant X should fall from the sky over the name.
[name]Camden[/name] - I must admit I really don’t care for this name. [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name] both feel like they have more staying power. This seems very trendy and the city is just such a mess. I do like [name]Cameron[/name].
[name]Gideon[/name] - this is a great name! I like it for you.
[name]Lincoln[/name] - [name]Lincoln[/name] works pretty well with brothers [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name]. [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Neal[/name] is a lot of sound overlap though.
[name]Henry[/name] - I love the name [name]Henry[/name]. It’s not the best fit with the brothers but it does work.
[name]Toby[/name] - I like the name [name]Toby[/name]. It works with [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name]. [name]Tobin[/name] is a related name could be nn [name]Toby[/name] if you like it.
[name]Truman[/name] - this feels very old mannish next to [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name]…
[name]Wyatt[/name] - I really like [name]Wyatt[/name] and like it with [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Mason[/name]!
[name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Toby[/name], [name]Gideon[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], and [name]Henry[/name] are my top picks for you, probably in that order. I can’t really get behind [name]Camden[/name] or [name]Truman[/name]. Besides [name]Cameron[/name] and [name]Tobin[/name], I can see [name]Logan[/name], [name]Lachlan[/name], [name]Wylie[/name], [name]Riley[/name], [name]Corbin[/name], [name]Colby[/name] all working.
