Brother for Evie and Anna

I’m due in a week with baby #3 and my husband and I cannot decide on baby boy’s name. We have [name_f]Eva[/name_f] ([name_f]Evie[/name_f]) [name_m]Smith[/name_m] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] (family middle names) and our last name sounds like Michaelocheck - very Eastern European.

[name_u]Baby[/name_u]’s middle name will likely be [name_m]Edward[/name_m] or [name_u]George[/name_u] (family names).

On our list are the following - which would you choose? Thanks sm.

[name_m]Marcus[/name_m]/Marko
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/Theo
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]/Henrik
[name_u]Max[/name_u]/Maximus/Maxwell
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]

Your list is wonderful.

Grant sticks out to me because it’s a strong, solid name that isn’t as easily shortened and I think it fits well with [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

I also like [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

With [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] I like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/Theo, [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] best, but they all work great!

Max! It’s short but classic, just like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

Joseph, [name_m]Leo[/name_m], and [name_u]Max[/name_u] all fit really well to me! [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] sounds very strong and sweet too.

These would be my top combos out of your names, and I think any of them sound fine with your other children’s names:

Joseph [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]

I am really liking [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] for you – a versatile classic, just like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

Max would probably be my second pick.

Wonderful list for future baby boy!

I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] would all go well with [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. But my favorite is [name_m]Marcus[/name_m]! It’s simply perfect with [name_m]Edward[/name_m] as a middle name.

Oh, the names on your list are all lovely - can’t go wrong. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/Theo, and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - clasic and unique at the same time.

I like how your first two kids have 2 syllables with the same vowel at the beginning and end.

  • An-na
  • Eev-vee

Two Syllable Boys Names with Mirrored Vowels:

  • [name_m]Otto[/name_m]

Two Syllable, Two Vowel Boys Names:

  • [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] **
  • [name_m]Enzo[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Marco[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] **
  • Luca

Joseph would be my top pick for you too (with either middle):ok_hand:. [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] second.

These names are lovely!

I think my favorites are [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

Grant [name_m]Edward[/name_m] is definitely my favorite with your girls

Malcom [name_u]George[/name_u]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u]
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] “[name_u]Gus[/name_u]” [name_u]Max[/name_u]"
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u] “[name_u]Percy[/name_u]”
[name_u]Lionel[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] “[name_m]Leo[/name_m]”
[name_m]Orson[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] “[name_m]Oz[/name_m]” “[name_m]Ozzy[/name_m]”

Henry [name_u]George[/name_u] is my favorite!

I think any of the following would be perfect:

Theodore
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u]/Maximus
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]

All of these are solid classics like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but are, in my opinion, a little funner and younger (and in some cases quirkier) than [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. I don’t mind these, especially [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and [name_m]Marcus[/name_m], but I much prefer the above.

Hi there.

Eva & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are lovely.

Here are my thoughts on your list-

Marcus/Marko-I think that both are quite nice, but maybe too much w/your ln? And I don’t like [name_m]Mark[/name_m], personally. It seems dated.

Joseph-I love [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. It’s handsome & classic. I don’t personally care for [name_m]Joe[/name_m] or [name_u]Joey[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you? They may or may not be unavoidable. I think that just [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] goes perfectly w/your daughters’ names though.

Grant-This is okay. I think that it’s a little bit bland sounding. Not as classy & pretty as your girls’ names.

Leo-This is charming. Super cute w/Evie & [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. And I like how it’s short & sweet w/your long ln.

Theodore/Theo-I like this too. It’s adorable. Both [name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_u]Theo[/name_u] are getting sort of common if that bothers you. But they’re classics too.

Henry/Henrik-I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but it’s also way popular. It’s a great name though. I don’t like [name_m]Henrik[/name_m] as much. It sounds a little harsh.

Max/Maximus/Maxwell-I like [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] & [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], but just [name_u]Max[/name_u] seems like the best choice. Short, sweet, classic & charming.

Hugo-I like it in theory, but something about it sounds goofy.

Hope this helps.

I love [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], that matches your daughters bible names.

Congratulations :partying_face::partying_face:

My favourites from your list are [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. They are all really handsome stable choices that I think work well with [name_f]Eva[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. Personally my favourite is [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] it’s a universal choice similar to [name_f]Eva[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I love that all three names have Hebrew origins ties them nicely together and all three names have positive meanings that feel holy. [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is a soft masculine choice very understated I really like it! I think [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] Michaelocheck sounds strong.
