We’ve pretty much narrowed down our list to these two. Middle name will be [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. I prefer [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], my husband [name_m]Archer[/name_m].
Pros [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]: I like how it has a full name or nickname options - I like both [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u], like [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] and I like that it’s Scottish to go with Irish [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]
Cons [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]: Initials would be MRS, pretty popular, especially when combined with [name_u]Max[/name_u] and other “[name_u]Max[/name_u]” names
Pros [name_m]Archer[/name_m]: Outside of top 100, I like that it ends in R and has the name number of letters as [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
Cons [name_m]Archer[/name_m]: Not a huge fan of the nickname “[name_m]Archie[/name_m]”
I love [name_m]Archer[/name_m], but [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is a bit R heavy it isn’t awful, but something that stood out to me. Because of this, I think [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] would be the better choice [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] sounds great with [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Archer[/name_m]!! [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is great too, but the nickname [name_u]Max[/name_u] is too common. I don’t think you really need to worry about the first/middle combo. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is heavy on the “R” sound, it’s not noticeable. I think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] are perfect together.
[name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] & [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] are two of my favorite names and I think they go great together. My son has an Irish name too and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is a top contender if we have another boy. We would probably use the nn [name_m]Wells[/name_m] but I love [name_u]Max[/name_u] too. I’m not a fan of [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and don’t think it goes as well with [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]. 100% [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] for me!
I adore [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and think it goes very well with [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]. They sound like an adventurous set that loves the outdoors. You can just call him [name_m]Archer[/name_m], no nickname. Or you might like [name_m]Arch[/name_m]? I do not think the combo [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is bad.
I happen to love the name [name_m]Archer[/name_m], but my vote goes to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]!
[name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] (or [name_u]Finn[/name_u]?) sound great together. Also, I’m a fan of [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] just sounds a bit harsher to me.
I think either one would be perfect. I like both names a lot, but [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is my favorite. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] too.
I like [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] in full more than [name_u]Max[/name_u], so for that reason I prefer it as a middle.
This is a hard choice! [name_u]Finn[/name_u] has been my boys name crush for at least 10 years! I’ve got a friend who has an [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]! [name_m]Archer[/name_m] does go by [name_m]Archie[/name_m] and I wonder if at school he may become an [name_m]Archie[/name_m]. My vote would be for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and both names get use. But it looks like [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is in the middle so [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m].
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]! I think it’s soooo handsome. I’m not a big fan of [name_m]Archer[/name_m] anyway and I don’t like the repeated -ER sound of [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m].
[name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]…I love it.
