Hello to all, happy [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]! In the depths of despair trying to choose a name for our second and final child, older sister named [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]. First names I’m thinking about:
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m]
Possible combos:
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] ?
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Malone[/name_m]
Not sure if any of these sound right with [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
I really like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]
Some possible middle name options …
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] [name_u]Douglas[/name_u]
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]
[name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
Have you considered [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] as a first name choice for [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]'s brother? From your list, I think [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Malone[/name_m] would be a great sibling. [name_u]Grady[/name_u] and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] are matchy in sound and I’m not a fan of [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]. Without knowing your surname, here are some other suggestions.
[name_u]Mischa[/name_u], thank you for your time and wonderful suggestions. [name_u]Grady[/name_u] and [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] have not been sitting right with me, and [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] makes me think of [name_u]Gary[/name_u], which I don’t care for. [name_m]Russell[/name_m] was also on my list but I forgot to write it down. You’ve given me hope that I have some other possible options!!
I like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] & [name_u]Grady[/name_u] the best. I think [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] is a little dated next to [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], which is more of a modern name.
I would use a more classic middle name, much like you did with [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]:
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m]
sugarplumfairy, thanks for the input! I think now I’ve nixed all of the above. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband is liking [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. Think it goes with [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]? I’m going to post another thread with additional questions…
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] is lovely i love the look of it but i get put off by the possibly nicknames sawy as in Soy… What about [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]?
I love your names! Out of the ones you listed i like [name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_m]Malone[/name_m] the best but, while talking to a neighbor yesterday she was talking about her little boy [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] while reading your forum i couldn’t help but think of it. I think those [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] would sound really cute together.
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
I like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], but a close friend wants to use it. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is also a nice name, but a friend named her daughter that. Plus, I don’t think my husband likes either of those names. Thanks for your help, though!
Maybe that’s just me, but I find [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Grady[/name_u] a bit too close. [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] sound perfect to my ears, but you write that you’re not happy with [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]. I’d second [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. Maybe [name_m]Cole[/name_m]? [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t go for [name_m]Ernest[/name_m]
Btw. [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u], what a beautiful name!
Thank you so much, linnea! I’ve decided I love [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], but am trying to decide if we can use it or not as our last name ends in -fer. I’m worried the two -er endings are two matchy.
