Hi there! I’ve never actually posted on here or even made an account, I’ve just stalked forums and lists but my husband and I have our third baby on the way and we’re stuck on his name. His siblings are Henry and Audrey. Right now we like Everett August, but our last name - may as well throw it in here - is Light, and I think that’s too many names that end with T. DH thinks we should consider ending baby’s name with a vowel like his brother and sister, which I’m open to. I do really like Elio, but DH hates it. Names we like but can’t use:

It’s such a shame your husband hates [name_m]Elio[/name_m], it’s such a brilliant name! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are such lovely, timeless names; whilst I don’t mind [name_u]Everett[/name_u], to me it feels a bit more trendy? [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe my perception of it is off. I much prefer the sophisticated [name_u]August[/name_u], although sadly it sounds too descriptive with your surname. Other ideas:
To me, [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m], Louis, [name_m]Otis[/name_m] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m] would be absolutely perfect with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
For what it’s worth, I don’t think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] or [name_u]August[/name_u] sound T-heavy with light. I do like the idea of ending in a vowel like the sibs.
There’s some really great suggestions here!! I’m just here to add that maybe [name_m]Elio[/name_m] could be a middle name, since you love it so much! Your husband might be more onboard that way.
August [name_m]Elio[/name_m] sounds wonderful, but not sure if you want [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]August[/name_u] (that’s pretty similar). I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Elio[/name_m] works too, if you don’t mind the alliteration.

[name_u]Everett[/name_u] is nice, but I agree that it doesn’t sound super awesome w/your ln. If it’s absolutely the only name that you & your husband both love, I’d say go for it. If you think you could fall in love w/something else that flows w/Light better, maybe keep looking.
