We’re expecting another baby, a sibling for [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. We will not be finding out the sex, but girls names I find much easier! So I’m here to ask for help with boys names. I like classic and short boys’ names. If [name_f]Iris[/name_f] was a boy, she would have been [name_u]Gus[/name_u] or [name_m]George[/name_m]. I suppose [name_u]Gus[/name_u] isn’t very “classic” but it’s short and masculine and we just liked it (and liked that it wasn’t popular). Still like it, but I don’t like that both [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] would end in S, so [name_u]Gus[/name_u] is out. [name_m]George[/name_m], well, the royal baby makes it hard for me to love, as it’s no doubt going to be so popular now. I’m not very fond of more trendy boys’ names ([name_m]Caden[/name_m], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], etc). More the [name_m]Jack[/name_m]/[name_m]Henry[/name_m]/[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] variety (names that have been around forever) - but something that isn’t on the top of the popularity list.
I think I have a simmilar taste in name as you so will give you my list and names I can think of. I hope this helps If I am way off the mark I am sorry.
My son is [name_m]Donny[/name_m]. He’s named after his grandfather [name_m]Donald[/name_m]. It’s an old-fashioned name but I am willing you won’t find too many others. His middle name is [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m].
What about [name_m]Philip[/name_m]? I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_m]Philip[/name_m]. Or [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. Or [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m].
Loving a lot of these ideas! Specifically [name_m]Guy[/name_m] (never would’ve thought of it - but I like it!), [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_m]Mack[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I love both [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], but two friends just used those names.

[name_m]Walter[/name_m] came to my mind…(there is actually a really sweet children’s book series called “[name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_m]Walter[/name_m]” and the names are so cute together).
