Hey all! I need some major[name_f][/name_f] help for a name for our second munchkin! We’re due around Memorial [name_f]Day[/name_f] 2026, and were 100% convinced this little pumpkin to be a girl. But plot twist [name_f][/name_f]- we’re team boy! [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f] So, time to reinvent the wheel!

Our first is [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Anduin[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- yes, we went full-blown LOTR. The name was even more fitting because [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is a Pisces (water sign… [name_m]River[/name_m] Anduin… the stars aligned, basically). I want to recapture that same magic with this little guy.

The problem: DH and I are in completely[name_f][/name_f] different naming worlds. [name_f][/name_f]Me[name_f][/name_f]: vintage storybook, quirky. If this baby had been a girl, my top choices were [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f]Him[name_f][/name_f]: cowboy names. His top choices for a girl were [name_f]Delta[/name_f] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f].

I think you and your DH’s overall naming style has lots of similarities [name_m]Lochlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Luke[/name_m] share a similar L sound and have level of strength behind then maybe [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m], [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] + [name_f]Lennon[/name_f] would work as a crossover between the two choices. I also think [name_m]Callum[/name_m] + [name_m]Colton[/name_m] with the similar endings, shared L sound situated in the middle along with the C start other names that could work like [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_m]Calder[/name_m], [name_m]Calloway[/name_m] + [name_m]Callan[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]! And before reading my thoughts were with [name_m]Felix[/name_m] or [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]. I love both those names. But with them off the list, and hopefully to appeal to both of you:

From his list I love [name_m]Max[/name_m] with [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] “Max” gives the name more substance and charm.
