Brother for Lydia...open to any suggestions

We are due in [name_u]March[/name_u] with our second child and we aren’t finding out the gender. We have a 2 year old daughter named [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. If this baby is a girl our current favorite name is [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].

The only boy’s name that we like currently like is [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]. I’m afraid that it would be weird to have a little girl named [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and a boy named [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] since [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] is a character in Pride and Prejudice. Is that weird to anyone else??

The boy name that we had picked out with my daughter was [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. I’m just not as in love with it this time around.

We would like to use the middle name [name_m]Scott[/name_m] (to honor my dad) or [name_m]Abram[/name_m] (my maiden name).

I also like [name_u]Reed[/name_u], [name_m]Dawson[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m], but my husband isn’t crazy about any of these.

We would love to hear what you think or any names we have overlooked that would go great with [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. Thanks so much!

Ha, I had the same thought when I read [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_m]Bennet[/name_m]. You could always go with [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]. Both go well with [name_f]Lydia[/name_f].

I don’t think it’s a big deal to have a [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and a [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]. I love [name_m]Bennett[/name_m].
