[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries - My husband and I need some help. We were told at 20 weeks we were having a baby girl (never could decide on a name for her) and then recently at 28 weeks found out we’re actually having a boy! We’re very excited but struggling to find a name that goes well with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (our daughter) and our last name - starts with W and ends in “er.” We’d like to avoid names that start with M or W or end in “er”, “or”, or an “o” sound. Names that we’re considering and both like but aren’t sold on are [name_m]Burke[/name_m] (family name), [name_m]Colin[/name_m], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Brett[/name_u], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], and [name_u]Brennan[/name_u]. Names that we like but can’t use are [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_m]Silas[/name_m], [name_m]Connor[/name_m], [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m], [name_m]Beau[/name_m], and [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. Any suggestions or opinions would be much appreciated!!
[name_u]Love[/name_u], love, love [name_m]Burke[/name_m] and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]! Along the same vibe I also really like [name_m]Breck[/name_m] and [name_m]Briggs[/name_m]. They are strong, handsome names and would go nicely with [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. Are you planning to use family names to honour someone in the middle spot, or are you looking for combo suggestions?

If you can’t use [name_m]Henry[/name_m], which was my first thought, what about another stylish classic like [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] or [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]?
[name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], and [name_m]Burke[/name_m] are all really cool names and go great with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (which I love by the way!)
What about?
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]
[name_u]Bryce[/name_u]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u]
(I will say that I know a [name_u]Brennan[/name_u] who hates his name because people are always misspelling/mispronouncing it as [name_m]Brandon[/name_m])
My husband has come around to using [name_m]Burke[/name_m] as a first name (it is his family name after all) - yay!!! Now we have to think middle names - something with one or two syllables. We don’t mind if the middle name is a fairly popular name to balance out the more unusual first name. Contemplating [name_m]Burke[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] W. Any thoughts on that name or suggestions for other options? Thanks!!
