Looking for input on a boy name that goes with [name_u]Miles[/name_u] and [name_m]Linus[/name_m]. I prefer names that are classic and recognizable, but not too common. Two names I have in mind are [name_u]August[/name_u] and Henry… thoughts between these two? Any additional ideas welcome!
[name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Henry[/name_u] are both great! Although [name_u]Henry[/name_u] was actually the #7 most common boys name in 2022 in the US (and also in the top 10 for [name_u]England[/name_u] & [name_m]Wales[/name_m] and Australia) – it’s way more popular than many people realize, so if you’re looking for something less common [name_u]August[/name_u] might be a better choice as its outside the top 100 names!
A few other ideas could be [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_u]Gideon[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], or [name_u]Harry[/name_u]!
Both sound great
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] goes the best but it really depends on your definition of “not too common” as it is rising in popularity and [name_u]Henry[/name_u] has been in the top 100 (US) for quite some time (since 2006, in fact!). [name_u]August[/name_u] has risen dramatically in the last 10 years, though, from #319 to #109 and the trend has only been upward so it is likely it may be in the top 100 for this year.
Here are a few suggestions outside the top 200 (US):
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Roland[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Caswell[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Cassian[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Cashel[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Julius[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], & [name_m]Sherwin[/name_m]
Hopefully these help
[name_u]Welcome[/name_u] to Nameberry! As other have mentioned, [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u] are both trending quite a bit in the US right now. Stylistically, I think they both fit well, though! If I had to choose, I’d go with [name_u]August[/name_u].
Suggestions:
[name_m]Simon[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]

I like [name_u]August[/name_u] for you! It feels familiar but not overused!
[name_u]Henry[/name_u] works well too - a solid classic, but fairly popular (where I am, anyway)

[name_u]Miles[/name_u] + [name_m]Linus[/name_m] are so gentlemanly and soft
I really like [name_u]August[/name_u] with them as I like the shared ‘s’ sound running through all three names. I wanted to put forward [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] as I feel not only does he share that ‘s’ sound but has that gentlemanly nostalgic feel.
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m] and…
[name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps
[name_u]August[/name_u] would get my vote ! I love that all 3 boys would have an S in their names
I also think [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is very popular
I will suggest [name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m] and
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_m]Wells[/name_m]
[name_u]Francis[/name_u]
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m]
[name_m]Wes[/name_m]
[name_u]Douglas[/name_u]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m]
[name_m]Ross[/name_m]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u] & [name_m]Linus[/name_m] are wonderful! Have you thought about another -s ending to coordinate with them? I tend to like things to be cohesive like that, so my suggestions will reflect that. You can ignore this if you’re looking for something different.
[name_u]Douglas[/name_u]
[name_m]Hans[/name_m]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m]
[name_m]Russ[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Travis[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] is great! Also suggesting [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Lars[/name_m], [name_m]Ivar[/name_m] and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] your boys’ names! I see [name_m]Otis[/name_m] on a few suggestion lists and I think her perfectly matches [name_u]Miles[/name_u] and [name_m]Linus[/name_m] in terms of vibes, “i” vowel, and “s” ending!
[name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], and…
[name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u]
[name_m]Ferris[/name_m]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m]
