I would LOVE any suggestions to get our name discussions going.
Our boys are Mordecai Xavier and Atticus Frank and boy #3 is due in a few months.
Their middle names are each after a grandfather.
Right now Leo/Leonidas is at the top of my list possibly with a virtue/word middle name.
Family names we could potentially work with: Oliver, Jermone, Lee, Michael, Joseph, or Herbert. Herbert is not my favorite name in the world but it’s my great grandfather who is a ww2 veteran, survived having covid, and he has dozens of grand kids (including great and great-greats) with no namesake so far! He is dearly loved and will turn 99 just a few weeks before this baby is due.
I also love names like Ivar, Alaric, Osiris, and Boaz. My husband likes Sullivan and Hawthorne. We both like Rowan, Gideon, and Otto.
Names we both like but won’t use: Theodore, Oberon/Auberon, and Apollo.
Any names that mean peace are a bonus. We don’t really put any consideration into the sibling names “going” together but like the more uncommon to rare and strong names.
We’d also totally consider two middle names if I can make Herbert work somehow.
Super specific but I’m hoping for some cool suggestions! TIA!

For [name_m]Herbert[/name_m], could Bert/Bertie/Albert work maybe?
[name_u]Or[/name_u], a play on the meaning [name_m]Ivar[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m] or [name_m]Ivor[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m] (since [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] meanings bright army/warrior - [name_m]Ivar[/name_m] means warrior/army, [name_m]Albert[/name_m] means noble and bright - I think that would be a cool way/meaning to honour your grandfather)

All have [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] and a “peace” name (either first or second) and means all sons have their own starting letter. I would almost definitely use [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] - sounds like a man you’d want to have in your name /in your corner (psychologically) and he (Herbert) will be thrilled!

[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_u]Paxton[/name_u] [name_m]Herbert[/name_m]
[name_m]Boaz[/name_m] [name_m]Miro[/name_m] [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] (though [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] gives me brutish/bully vibes for some reason!)
Didn’t use [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] as think puts the group off balance (Mordecai seems out) and I don’t especially warm to [name_m]Ivar[/name_m]. You could of course mix and match these! You could use [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] for any of these “peace” middles and get a family name in there plus a peace meaning - two for one!
