We are team green, due in a month. Our girl pick is [name_f]Liora[/name_f]. We have a short list for a boy but aren’t in love with anything. We like Classic, underused names that have a positive meaning (or at least a positive association). [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] sometimes goes by “[name_m]Rafi[/name_m]” so we’d like to find something else sophisticated but with an unexpected nick name.

Here is our current list that we can’t seem to commit to.

  2. [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] (we hate the nn [name_u]Toby[/name_u]/[name_u]Tobi[/name_u] though)
  3. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] (afraid it will get lost in a sea of [name_m]Luke[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucas[/name_m])
  4. [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] (to common)

So give me all your best suggestions please!

I love [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], I think it matches the more exotic feel of your other names

[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] is also an option which matches well, but if you have reservations some other options are [name_m]Tobiah[/name_m], [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] and [name_m]Tibor[/name_m]

I wasn’t even aware [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] was a place name
