In general, my husband likes names that end in “S” and I like three-syllable names, with a shorter nickname. We tend to not like surname-type names (although we have [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] listed above!).

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite name to pair with [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] would be [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Seems like it fits your criteria, it has three syllables and not one but two short nickname possibilities ([name_m]Seb[/name_m] and [name_m]Bas[/name_m]).
