Brother for Sasha (b)?

Considering [name_f]Shea[/name_f] for my second boy. I have [name_m]Irish[/name_m] heritage. Our first son is [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] (not shortened for anything) [name_f][/name_f]- we don’t have Russian roots, just liked the name!

[name_f][/name_f]

Are [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_f]Shea[/name_f] together too much of the “sh” sound?

As far as I now [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] is a nickname for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is spanish regions.

[name_f][/name_f]

Personally I thibk it is too much.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Shea[/name_f] maybe as a middle Name?

Trying to say them together, “Sasha & Shea”, is incredibly hard for me to do quickly. And you will usually say their names quickly. I would not do it.

[name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_f]Shea[/name_f] are very matchy and while I’m not sure I’d use them myself, they’re not unusable or terrible together (imo)

Would make me trip up saying these together.

Here are some other Irish boy names I think work with Sasha:

Cian (Kee-un)
Cillian (Killian)
Tiernan Teer-nan)
Murphy
Rory
Niall
Elian

If you really like the Sh sound but so it’s as intense:

Sasha & Oisin (Oh-sheen)

If you’re committed to Shea, I’d think about Shay for a boy. Shea seems Fem only to me.

Thanks everyone. Fair and helpful comments! @EloiseT[name_f][/name_f] I actually love all of your suggestions although my husband is so stinking hard to please when it comes to boys names.

I asked my husband to bring one suggestion for every two names that he struck off/ said didn’t like. Otherwise, I could choose! Not cool if not bringing any ideas to table. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] your husband is playing it fair!

Sorry, I agree with the others, [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_f]Shea[/name_f] is pretty hard to say together. [name_f][/name_f] Could you potentially use [name_f]Shea[/name_f] as a middle, as others have suggested? [name_f][/name_f] (Side note, adore your older son’s name! [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] is so wonderful.)

[name_f][/name_f]

You could maybe use another [name_m]Irish[/name_m] name? [name_f][/name_f] Like:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Finn[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Rory[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Cillian[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

I want to suggest [name_m]Seamus[/name_m], too, but I’m not sure that’s any better than [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] and [name_f]Shea[/name_f].

[name_f][/name_f]

Good luck!

I am wondering if [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] with the nickname [name_f]Shea[/name_f] could work for you

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Sasha[/name_f] & [name_m]Milos[/name_m] / [name_m]Milo[/name_m]

I love both names but I think they are a bit too similar. I love the idea of using it for a middle!
