Hey there, we’ve narrowed down our options for baby boy number two and would like your thoughts on which goes best with brother Theodore August (Theo). Middle name will likely be Andrew.
-Finneas (Finn) - can’t decide if I like this spelling, but I don’t like how Phineas and Finn are spelled differently, so this is the only spelling option for us
-Ezra
-Maxwell (Max)

They all go really well, but [name_m]Finneas[/name_m] is probably my favourite, with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] being my second favourite.
I absolutely love [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]! [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] is a wonderful brother set 
[name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is a great combo, but either [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] or [name_m]Finneas[/name_m] would also work with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]!
I think [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] sounds the best and I also like it best with big brother [name_u]Theo[/name_u]

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] is such a fabulous name and even though [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is a favourite of mine but I think [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] works brilliantly with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] is a strong handsome name that works really well with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. Such a lovely sibling set.

I love that both boys would have a longer name that shortens to a natural, easy nickname–it feels like a great way to tie their names together without being too theme-y. And I adore [name_u]Theo[/name_u] & [name_u]Max[/name_u] as a pair! I do love [name_u]Finn[/name_u], too, and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] are great together. But I’m with you that I’m not too sure about the spelling of [name_m]Finneas[/name_m]. I don’t know that I prefer [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], though–honestly I think I just like the sound of this name more than either spelling. [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is another great option, but I’m finding myself a little bummed that it doesn’t have an obvious nickname. I think I’m just really liking the idea of the full name/nickname pattern of [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] “Theo” and [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] “Max” or [name_m]Finneas[/name_m] “Finn.” Overall, [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] “Max” definitely gets my vote!

, although [name_m]Finneas[/name_m] has been a favorite for a while. I just can’t get over the spelling thing. [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is my husbands favorite, but he’s flexible. I’m moving [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] to the top of the list!
I think [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] goes best with brother [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] but the other options are fine as well.

It suits [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] best to me and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] are perfect together. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] (Max), which you just can’t go wrong with (even though I personally prefer [name_m]Maxim[/name_m], [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] or [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], or just Max). [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is a strong, interesting name too though so really, you can’t go wrong.

For the people who like [name_m]Finneas[/name_m] better, does that spelling seem strange? [name_m]Will[/name_m] it be misspelled all the time? That’s our biggest worry. We do love the sound of the name.
