Hello, first post here as I need help. Due our baby boy in [name_u]August[/name_u] and trying to decide on a name.
His big sister is [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and I’m looking for a name we love as much as hers. Surname is short, one syllabul beginning when a B. We lost a little boy during pregnancy who we named [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] so that is obviously off our list but we loved the two names together.
Our favourites we go back and forth to are:
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] (a little different, it’s stuck for a few months but not sure it’s got the same feel as [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] or will stand the test of time)
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] (getting v popular)
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] (based in the UK so again popular but feel it goes nicely with [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]).
I love [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and also considered [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] but husband doesn’t like [name_m]Ben[/name_m] with surname (two short B names together).
My deceased father’s name was [name_m]Peter[/name_m] which I would like to use as a middle name (but feel [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] doesn’t work well!)
Could also use my maiden name Sall as a middle name…
Husband has mentioned a few times he loves [name_m]Angus[/name_m] - not convinced but I do like the nickname ‘[name_u]Gus[/name_u]’ with [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]!
Any ideas

Of your names I really love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]. The nickname could be [name_m]Benny[/name_m] instead of just [name_m]Ben[/name_m]! [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] sound so perfect.
As for ‘[name_u]Gus[/name_u]’ you can get [name_u]Gus[/name_u] from [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] or [name_u]August[/name_u]! Here’s a few others just for fun but I do love the names you’ve got already!

While I like [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], I do feel it’s a little different than [name_f]Betsy[/name_f].
I like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] but I prefer nn [name_u]Theo[/name_u] as I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as it reminds me of [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] Bears.
I like [name_m]Angus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u] the best or [name_u]August[/name_u].
