[name_f]My[/name_f] wife and I are having a hard time deciding on a name for our second boy who is due in a month!!
Our first is [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and we have a few names for his brother that we each like. Would love to get an opinion on what everyone’s favorite is or if there are any suggestions for alternatives
FYI One of the names on our list is [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]. However, we are Australians living in the US and think the name might be a bit kitschy!
If you are worried about it being a bit kitschy, how would you feel about an elongated name such as [name_m]Oisín[/name_m] or Oscar/Oskar or even [name_u]August[/name_u], Austin/Austen etc with the nickname [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]? I think [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] sound particularly great together. The “Aussie” nod is quite cute to me, it took me a bit of time to make the connection as the spelling is completely different. From your list, I also personally like [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u].
[name_u]Milo[/name_u] is quite matchy with [name_u]Leo[/name_u] - not sure if that’s intentional or not but something to consider. I also immediately see [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] from Glee with the pairing but the names go well together.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] nn [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] - it’s a debonair name and means he has a formal name to use (Ozzy apart from the Aussie thing isn’t as substantial as Hudson)
[name_m]Joshua[/name_m] is a really nice pairing with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] - both solid names, and have their own starting and ending sounds - I prefer it to [name_u]Julian[/name_u] in this case, to mix up the endings. It translates in both countries really well.
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] is too popular and soft sounding for me after [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] - they do have an outdoorsy vibe together but I find [name_u]Finn[/name_u] to be a bit limp compared to your other choices. I might use [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] or [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] or a longer version of [name_u]Finn[/name_u] instead.
[name_u]Milo[/name_u] would be potentially as problematic as [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] but in reverse - with [name_u]Milo[/name_u] the popular drink and it being more strongly a dog’s name here in [name_m]Oz[/name_m]. I don’t think I’d choose [name_u]Milo[/name_u], again also because it’s so gentle after [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] - hard enough being son number 2!
[name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] is cool and goes well with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] - and both equally boyish. It’s the most American/Americana of your choices.
I would choose [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] or [name_m]Oscar[/name_m].

[name_u]Julian[/name_u], [name_u]Milo[/name_u], and [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] are really [name_m]Handsome[/name_m] with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_u]Leo[/name_u]. I actually think [name_u]Julian[/name_u] [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] is a lovely combo! Again, I think you have a lovely list already, but what about [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_u]Sonny[/name_u], or [name_u]Remy[/name_u]?

While I do love the name [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u], I agree that it feels a bit cheesy in your circumstances to use. In my opinion, one of those situations it would work well for a family dog, but maybe not a baby.
I think [name_u]Milo[/name_u] and [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] are both great options! They flow well with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and feel similar popularity wise.
