I really like [name_m]French[/name_m] names, which honours my family heritage. Equally, I’m a poet and really love the idea of giving my children names associated with poetry, in this case: [name_f]Rumi[/name_f] and [name_f]Sappho[/name_f]. However, when it comes to boys names I’m stuck. I like [name_u]Eliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], however I feel like they sound too similar to [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f], respectively.
I like [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m] [name_u]Rafe[/name_u], however, it doesn’t really fit the theme and I feel as though it doesn’t flow as a sibset. Also, I fear the name sounds very pretentious.
I also don’t want to make the literature theme seem to blatant and ‘extra’ sounding.
Any suggests would be very much appreciated, thank you in advance!
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] together but please don’t name your child [name_f]Rumi[/name_f] - I know he is famous and I also grow up with his poems but I learned he was misogynistic and racist - especially towards Turkish people - so I would recommend [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Ani[/name_f] etc instead.
I think [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] fits really nicely with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! I also love a pps suggestion of [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], either as a first or middle!
Sidenote: I love that you used [name_f]Sappho[/name_f]!
