[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or [name_u]Owen[/name_u]! [name_u]Dean[/name_u] seems like a smoosh of different bits of the other names, and I think Theordore makes [name_u]Evan[/name_u] the odd one out - but I suppose [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] alleviates that…

Yes as both of you said I think we are really torn between [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I’m considering [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] for first and middle. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] or otherwise [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]

Yes torn! I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] but worry about how it will age. I guess his name will eventually be [name_m]Ted[/name_m] and so trying to see if I prefer [name_m]Ted[/name_m] or [name_u]Owen[/name_u] better. Considering [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as first and middle

As someone who loves names does it seem cool to you if all 4 kids’ names share the same letters except for one letter? I find this very cool and puts [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] on the board for me. But I’m also a writer so I think I just love words/letters/hidden meaning.

@4momever [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] ranks highly as a fullname where I am, so I imagine Teddys these days would be growing up around other Teddys so when they reached adulthood, there would be plenty of other adult Teddys too.
[name_m]Ted[/name_m] is cool too though and I quite like [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]

@4momever that is interesting! I think it’s a subtle link between them! However, I don’t think it’s immediately obvious in your kids names, so I wouldn’t feel tied to it?

One thing I like about [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (apart from it being a wonderful name) is it gives your kids their own starting letter and ending sound - whereas [name_u]Owen[/name_u] is fairly close to [name_u]Evan[/name_u] (though as not back to back sibs this doesn’t bother me).

I wouldn’t worry about [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], it’s such a popular name (Theodore), there will be plenty of Teds, Teddys & Theos around. I would definitely use [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and not just [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as the full name, or even just [name_m]Ted[/name_m] - then nickname [name_u]Teddy[/name_u].

[name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] sounds fab (and it’s a spunkier option than [name_u]Michael[/name_u] though I’d use [name_u]Michael[/name_u] if it’s an honour). I wonder though, if you’ll regret not having [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] in top spot so you can use it? I’m swinging towards [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (or even just Ted) given how much you like [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] - which does have more winsome charm than the quieter, more outdoorsy and laid-back [name_u]Owen[/name_u].

[name_u]Owen[/name_u] is my favourite of your listed names, but I find it too close in sound to [name_u]Evan[/name_u], personally. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] are both so obscenely popular where I live, so I wouldn’t use them, but they’re both good names. [name_f]My[/name_f] vote goes to [name_u]Dean[/name_u].

[name_m]Can[/name_m] I ask what region you live in? Curious where they are super popular.

I live in Australia. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is our number 1 name (and has been number 1 in my state for the last 5 years), [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is number 7, and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] on it’s own is number 40 so also quite common.
