We are fast approaching the birth of baby boy #3. We have a McScottish last name. Older brothers are named [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].

Top contenders are:

Some dark horses are:

[name_u]Francis[/name_u] (after the Pope) - but mostly considered for a middle name

Can’t start with B. Would prefer not start with J or D but open to that possibility.

My favorites from your list are [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] - I really like all three and think they all work great with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] & [name_m]Declan[/name_m]. Personally, I like [name_m]Ian[/name_m] & [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] slightly better than [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Francis[/name_u] as a middle name and it flows well with most names! [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would be simply amazing with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m]! [name_m]Ian[/name_m] is a distant second, the rest don’t work as nicely for me. Not a big fan of [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and I don’t know why…

I just love your whole list, and both your boys’ names. ([name_m]Kevin[/name_m] is somewhat dated, but still nice.)

I have just two suggestions for you; [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], and [name_m]Graeme[/name_m]/[name_m]Graham[/name_m].
It seems like everyone else beat me to any other suggestions I had!

From your lovely list, I like [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_m]Derek[/name_m], and [name_m]Ian[/name_m] best. All three would sound fantastic with the handsome [name_u]Francis[/name_u] in the middle.

I love [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]. I think [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], [name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] are good if you want to have an N ending theme, if not [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is perfect. Other names I think would be good are [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_u]Leland[/name_u], [name_u]Niall[/name_u], or [name_m]Callum[/name_m].
