Brother or Sister for Michael & Nicholas

My boys, [name]Michael[/name] and [name]Nicholas[/name] are going to have a brother or sister in a few months. We need help with names. We love that our boys names can be shortened to simple, strong nicknames: [name]Mike[/name] & [name]Nick[/name]. We also like to put an unusual or rare middle name with our classic first names. The nickname for a boy or girl does not need to have a “k” in it.
If you can help, we would really appreciate it.
Some we like -
[name]Catherine[/name] ([name]Cate[/name])
[name]Evangeline[/name] ([name]Eve[/name])
[name]Ross[/name] ??? - no full name, bummer

Boys: I love the name [name]Ross[/name]! [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Jacob[/name] nn [name]Jake[/name], [name]John[/name] nn [name]Jack[/name], [name]Jackson[/name] nn [name]Jack[/name], [name]William[/name] nn [name]Will[/name], or [name]Thomas[/name] nn [name]Tom[/name]?
Girls: I also love [name]Catherine[/name] nn [name]Cate[/name]. I also love [name]Annabel[/name] nn [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] nn [name]Anna[/name]. [name]Evangeline[/name] nn [name]Eve[/name] is really pretty, too!
I would use any of the above names if I were naming a baby. They’re classic, easy to say, and I would never get tired of them.

I vote for [name]Evangeline[/name]/[name]Eve[/name]–if your last name isn’t too long. Too bad about [name]David[/name].

I also thought of [name]Joseph[/name] nn [name]Joe[/name], [name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name], [name]Peter[/name] nn [name]Pete[/name] (my own son’s name and we love it!), and [name]Zachary[/name] nn [name]Zack[/name], oh, and [name]Gabriel[/name] nn [name]Gabe[/name].
For girls, [name]Clara[/name] nn [name]Clare[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name] nn [name]Bea[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] nn [name]Nell[/name], [name]Rosalind[/name] nn [name]Rose[/name], and [name]Theresa[/name] nn [name]Tess[/name].
I really love your sons’ names and so I’m curious to know what you will name your third baby! Be sure to post it!
